Qatar National Bank (QNB) has become the first Middle Eastern financial institution to integrate with JPMorgan's Onyx blockchain platform for cross-border USD transactions. The $420 million partnership aims to slash processing times from 2-3 business days to under 10 minutes while reducing costs.

The MOVE follows a successful pilot program that processed $2.5 billion in transactions, achieving 97% faster settlement and 35% lower operational costs. This strategic adoption signals accelerating institutional blockchain integration in traditional finance.
